Art Library

Studying art is a passion that I have. I'm always reading books about artists and art history and have quite a collection of art-related books. This section tries to put all of that research material into one area that is easy to navigate.

Most of the material here comes from my studies in the Adult Degree Program (ADP) at Vermont College, Norwich University. My studies in the ADP required that I read 20 art-related books/semester and write insightful essays on each book. At the end of each semester, a "Final Reflective Essay" was written, pulling the entire six-month study together in preparation for an hour-long presentation in front of my advisory group.

My written work tied in with my studio work, which continued throughout all six semesters. The following is the result of that research, plus new research that is still going on to this day. An * denotes a book in my personal art library.

Enjoy!
